Ezra 7:6: This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he [was] a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the LORD his God upon him.
I want to have an obedient heart and ready hand to write what He directs me, and I want the Hand of the Lord to be upon me!
There is no purer refreshment, no sweeter joy than times in the presence of our Holy God. In the world there is chaos and clutter; in Him is everlasting peace. We each need to seek the Lord Jesus that He may direct our path. When we find ourselves enjoying those times of refreshing, we know our path is straight and our steps are sure because He is with us! "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord." Acts 3:19
If you have not taken that first step in knowing God sent His Son for you, it's simple. Just pray, "Lord Jesus, I invite you to be Lord of my life. I repent of my sin and leave it all behind. I ask You to direct my path from now on. Thank You for dying on the cross for me so I can live for You."
