Refreshing Times:  Journey of Faith

My journey of faith began in 1972 when I met the One who has promised never to leave me nor forsake me (Hebrews 13:5).   He never has left and He never will.  His name is Jesus, and He has been with me throughout my life-time, even before I knew Him.

The stories to the right are about my husband Glen, our family and farm life.  Later on in this journey I share about my parents' struggles with health issues, and a lot about faith!

It has not been easy seeing Mom and Dad grow older nor watching their health deteriorate over the years.  It is, as a matter of fact, heartbreaking at times!  My prayer is that by telling about the raw feelings and emotions I've had  – sometimes a spurt of frustration or anger, sometimes humor, but mostly love for my family and trust in our Heavenly Father – it may help another realize “you don't have to go it alone!”

"For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me upon a rock."  ~ Psalm 27:5
Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose.
